Surface Mount PCB Assemblies
We at Phase One Electronics are committed
to high quality and reliability. To this end we put a great deal
of emphasis on the environment within which PCB's are assembled,
and the processes involved.
All boards are critically profiled to produce optimum results as poor profiling may not manifest itself until failures in the field occur. These can be all but eliminated through close control of the reflow process and the subsequent handling throughout the assembly stage. Environmental control is maintained to ensure that boards are at the right temperature to obtain consistent results batch after batch.

Using the Juki High Speed Flexible Mounter we are able to place most devices from 0603's up to 50 mm square flat packs, BGA's and connectors with a high degree of accuracy. The KE2020 is equipped with high resolution placement heads with a Bottom Vision Centering System (VCS) for placement of components requiring Lead and/or Ball inspection. The Juki range of SM equipment is in our opinion one of the best SM platforms for speed accuracy and reliability. Inspection is carried out under microscope
for the majority of what we build. BGA's are independently
inspected using X-Ray techniques by one of the countries leading
inspection facilities based here on the south coast. The placement
of SM devices is supported back and front by DEK screen
printing with vision for accuracy and DIMA reflow for consistent
soldering results.
